During the period of its existence, our team has repeatedly received various professional awards, becoming the winner of the different professional international, national and regional competitions.

The geography of our work covers 17 regions located in six Federal districts of Russia, from its South to its Far East. The main area is the southern part of Russia, including the Northern Caucasus, where we have made the most of our projects.

Science

Our researches are connected with the practical activity of the group of companies in the field of urban development, scientific and methodological work in support of the process of urban planning. Our staff is involved both in practical and research activities.

Education

“Centre of Urban Education”, which is a part of the “Urban centre”, offers courses of urban planning for managers and specialists of organizations working in the field of spatial planning, zoning and planning of territories, teaching staff of educational institutions of secondary vocational, higher vocational education, postgraduate education, and additional professional education.

About us

“Urban centre” is a group of companies which unites scientific, design and educational organizations, working in the field of urban planning. Our team started to form in 1989; today it includes about 40 persons. Our credo is the creation of a regional urban school in the southern Russia.

    The group of companies “Urban Planning Centre” units three project companies, which are well experienced in the field of spatial planning, urban design and strategic planning at different levels of government under market economy conditions based on the current legal system. The part of the group is also the Centre of Urban Education.

    The main task of the city’s administration is the implementation of development strategies, but that process is associated with the greatest difficulties of resource, organizational, personnel, information measures. Discrepancies between the real socio-economic situation in the city and the forecast performance of strategies are forced to retreat from the action plan, so that is sometimes difficult to sustain strategic direction.
